About us

What we do

We are a developer, manufacturer, wholesaler and online retailer of children's furniture with a focus on "safety products for babies and small crawling children". We do not see ourselves as a classic dealer of buying and selling, because most of the products in our assortment come from "our own pen".

As a small, but "sworn" team, we stand for the development of new solutions for typical everyday problems of parents with small crawling children. From the first freehand sketches, to 3D development on the computer, to prototyping, we have all the key skills in-house.

How we began

Our story begins in 1999, when INVENTAS GmbH was founded. At that time, we launched the first modular barrier for crawling children, known under the brand name Krabbel-Hit®. With Krabbel-Hit®, we created a completely new product category that had not existed before, but which has since become firmly established on the market under the term "configuration grating".

What we want

It has always been our aim to develop practical products with a high utility value. In doing so, we place particular emphasis on safety. One example is the plate feet developed by us - meanwhile adopted by many well-known manufacturers - which provide the necessary stiffening for configuration grids and thus make larger barriers or room dividers safely possible.

What we can do

In our latest project, we have also introduced an innovation to the market in the form of the BUZZER® door guard. BUZZER® differs from all other door and stair safety gates with a unique comfort feature: it can be operated hands-free.

BUZZER® is the winner of the Innovation Award 2018, a prestigious award presented annually at the Kind und Jugend trade fair in Cologne.
